In Low-Light Conditions or rather Pitch Darkness in this case. I have taken 3 Phones upto this test, but all these devices are from a different OS and Different Camera Optics nonetheless, I will check the quality of these Pictures, Firstly I will name the 3 Phones
- Nokia N82 - This is a Classic Smartphone from Nokia still going good, it has the xenon powered Camera with 5 Megapixel Camera.
- Nokia E7 - My friend was Kind enough to lend me his QWERTY Monster, With its dual LED- Flash 8 Megapixel Snapper.
- Nokia N9 - The Meego Powered 8 Megapixel Camera with dual LED Flash and Carl Ziess Optics.
Now I took a Single Picture from these Phones randomly in Pitch Darkness, it was actually my small mini-table is full of junk. See below
This was taken from the N82 (see above)
Above Picture from the E7
Last Picture From the N9!
VERDICT
Actually in Low Light Conditions (like Pitch Darkness) The Photos from each of the above devices would be the same, that's why I posted only one picture for the test.
There is no match to Nokia N82 Camera Optics but it has a Xenon Flash, that made all the difference! The real comparison would be between Nokia E7 and Nokia N9, since both have nearly the same camera specifications.
The E7 has whitish color to its pictures in the dark, while N9 is bit yellowish, still the Flash of the latter is quite strong, will try to post more camera tests between those two devices.
Now, I would like have N82 vs N8 Camera test soon. Let's how that comes out!
